Donald J. Trump rules out U.S. attack on Iran before November 3 midterm elections

Donald J. Trump stated the U.S. is having productive discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He stated the U.S. will not attack Iran at any time before the midterm elections on Nov. 3.

Trump stated the blockade will remain in full force and effect.

Trump claimed 22 million barrels of oil flowed through the Hormuz Strait last night alone, with not one barrel coming from or going to Iran.

He stated Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.

ABC News reported Trump also suggested Iran could take out Los Angeles or San Diego if it develops nuclear weapons.

For Indian-origin households tracking U.S. foreign policy and security developments, the statement rules out U.S. military strikes on Iran before Nov. 3 while maintaining the blockade.
