TCS plans 15,000 U.S. hires despite the suspension of PERM green card sponsorship

TCS announced plans to hire 15,000 new workers across the United States.
The company stated its workforce strategy will not be affected by its suspension from the federal PERM program used to sponsor foreign workers for green cards.
The PERM suspension also touches major employers including Microsoft, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Adobe, and Capgemini.
Industry analysts stated that the green card program suspension poses little risk to the Indian IT sector.
For Indian IT professionals tracking U.S. employment and permanent residency pathways, TCS is keeping its hiring targets active while PERM processing remains paused across major firms.
