Google Research launches Deep Review for free academic testing

Google Research launched Deep Review, an agentic system designed to stress-test manuscripts, design documents, and complex proposals before submission or publication.

The tool is designed to help researchers verify and catch errors in academic papers and technical documents.

Google made Deep Review publicly available globally for free use up to twice a week after pilot partnerships analyzing over 15,000 research papers.

The announcement was made alongside Gemini 4 Argon and research with Columbia University on automated RTL waveform analysis.

For Indian-origin researchers, engineers, and graduate students in the U.S., the tool provides a free automated check for technical manuscripts and project proposals up to twice weekly.
